At 3 Doubles Productions we keep on creating. After a difficult year we are still lucky enough to continue working and giving the best of ourselves. Growing as a company and generating content for all kinds of audiences. The projects that are underway and others that will be in the future are the following:
One of the works with the most impact and of which we are very proud is Momonsters, a children cartoon series. Already broadcasted in Clan (TVE), this summer will be enjoyed in several countries around the world. Produced together with Big Bang Box, KD Productions, Antaviana Films and TVE. The Momonsters Haha, Hehe, Hihi, Hoho and Huhu want to be a child’s best friend, but… where can they learn how? At the Momonsters Academy! Where every day a different little boy or girl will show them their favorite thing in the whole world: playing hide and seek, decorating muffins, playing soccer, dancing with a hula hoop, reading a comic book… Afterwards the Momonsters will have to demonstrate that they can do it themselves.
ARPO may look scary, but it’s not a top-secret government project, it’s just a harmless housekeeper who, unfortunately, finds itself working for the craziest family known to mankind. Its main job is to look after baby Daniel (a little trouble magnet). Baby Daniel is a baby! Who knew? He’s about 1 year old, so he’s aware, and cheeky, but never knowing, cynical or mean. Most of the time he is happy, full of joy for everything ARPO does.
Episodes will concentrate mainly on slapstick gags, but should always contain an element of heart, and show the close friendship between Danny and his beloved ARPO.
INSPECTOR SUN AND THE CURSE OF THE BLACK WIDOW
Inspector Sun and the Curse of the Black Widow’ directed by Julio Soto (‘Deep’). It is a co production of The Thinklab Media and Gordon Box in association with 3Doubles Producciones. With the participation of Radiotelevisión Española, the support of the ICAA Ministry of Culture, the financing of the ICO, the financing of Sodena, and the support of Epic Games through its Epic MegaGrants. International sales will be handled by Kapers Animation and distribution in SPAIN will be handled by TRIPICTURES, whose studio is located in Pamplona, and Gordon Box in association with 3Doubles Producciones, based in Tenerife. The Thinklab moved in 2020 from Madrid to the moved its activity from Madrid to the production centre in Navarra in 2020 to make the feature film «Inspector Sun and the Curse of the Black Widow”.
Rocco Pucillo has written the screenplay for ‘Inspector Sun and the Curse of the Black Widow’. The text won the Samuel Goldwyn Award at its 58th edition in Los Angeles in 2013.
The film explores the children’s thriller genre with a story set in the 1930s, aboard a luxury plane in which humans and insects coexist. Ruined millionaires, black widows, hired killers and smugglers come together in this original film noir where insects of various species, with spiders at the helm, have created their own particular universe.
