Studio 100, the rights holder of the 1974 anime series and producer of the 2015 CGI series, which had a second season in 2019, continues the tradition of adapting Johanna Spyri’s timeless novel. Now, with «Heidi: The Lynx Rescue,» Heidi’s story leaps into a new 3D adventure.

«Heidi: The Lynx Rescue» features a script written by Rob Sprackling, known for his work on «Gnomeo & Juliet». The story follows eight-year-old Heidi, who demonstrates her bravery and sensitivity by saving a family of lynxes and their home from a greedy businessman. This narrative not only highlights the qualities of a positive heroine but also addresses important environmental issues relevant to a global, modern audience.

To support this production, 3Doubles Producciones has opened a new animation studio in Bilbao, leveraging new tax incentives. This expansion allows work to be done both at the Tenerife headquarters and the new Bilbao site, enhancing production capacity and creative quality.
