Set in a student dormitory in Providence during the roaring 1920s, Helen opens with the protagonist waking up confused and barely dressed in her room. Her roommate, Elizabeth, enters the scene looking for a missing item: an occult grimoire. The book, which the two friends carelessly read during a wild party the night before, holds dangerous secrets. As they try to piece together the events of the evening, they come to realize that they’ve inadvertently unleashed something far beyond their control, pulling them into the eerie and surreal world of H.P. Lovecraft. In this world, reality and the supernatural blur into one.

Age of Madness tells original stories inspired by H.P. Lovecraft’s cosmic horror, featuring adult themes and a modern aesthetic. The central element of the series is the Necronomicon, a book that summons ancient gods and brings madness and death to those who dare to read it. Over time, the book changes hands, leading to chaos and destruction.
